Election Monitoring Forum is the largest election observer platform in Bangladesh with nationwide trained observers who are authorized by the Election Commission.
The main organizational responsibility of the Election Monitoring Forum is to present the people of Bangladesh with the true picture of the election period based on accurate and true information data during the pre-election, election-time, and post-election. Our main goal is to highlight the true picture through neutral observation.

The foundation of democracy is good governance and accountability of the Government towards the People. To ensure good governance it is mandatory to go through a free, fair, acceptable, and participative election process. Although Election Commission has to arrange this type of election still the other stakeholders of democracy like various parts of the government including the administration and law enforcement agencies, the ruling party/alliance, opposition political parties/alliances, candidates, civil society, media, election observers and voters has their role to play.
As an Election Observer goal is to prepare an acceptable Election Observation Report based on facts and information collected during the election process and submit a report to the Election Commission as well as publish it in Print and Electronic Media.
- To provide training to Observers registered with the Bangladesh Election Commission on preparing and submitting observation reports.
- To make necessary arrangements and invite Foreign Observers through member organizations to observe the Election.
- To raise awareness to people to practice their voting rights.
